Delivery times

When your blade arrives

Dispatch

In-stock blades leave the workshop within 2–3 business days. Orders placed after 12pm CT begin the next business day. You receive a tracking link by email the moment your parcel is scanned.

Custom commissions and forge-your-own builds are made to order — allow 3–6 weeks before dispatch. We email progress photos at forging and again before shipping.

Tracking & signature

Every parcel is tracked end to end and fully insured. Overnight and international shipments require an adult signature on delivery. If nobody is home, the carrier holds the parcel for two further attempts before returning it to us.

Packing

How we package a blade

A finished blade is a sharp, weighty tool. We pack every order by hand so it reaches you exactly as it left the anvil — straight, unmarked and ready to use.

  1. Oiled & edge-guarded Every edge is wiped with protective oil and capped with a fitted guard so it cannot dull or bite in transit.
  2. Foam-lined hard case The blade sits in a custom-cut foam cradle inside a rigid fibre case — no rattle, no shifting, no contact with the walls.
  3. Sealed & banded The inner case is sealed and banded, then the whole parcel is double-walled for extra crush protection.
  4. Plain outer carton A neutral outer box carries no brand markings and no hint of what is inside, so deliveries stay discreet.

Returns & refunds

If a blade arrives damaged

7-day damage returns

Every blade we ship is covered for 7 days from delivery if it arrives damaged by mail.

Tell us within 7 days

Reply to your order confirmation within 7 days with a photo of the damage and the packaging, and we arrange the return.

Return shipping covered

We pay the return shipping on every damage claim — no restocking fee and no charge to you.

Refund or replacement

Once the damaged blade reaches us we refund the full amount or forge a replacement — your choice.

How to start a damage return

  1. 1 Contact us within 7 days of delivery — reply to your order confirmation email with a photo of the damage.
  2. 2 We email a return authorisation and the carrier details to use, with shipping paid by us.
  3. 3 Repack the blade in its original case and hand it to the carrier.
  4. 4 When it reaches us we refund the full amount or forge a replacement within 5–7 business days.

What is covered

Our 7-day return covers every blade that arrives damaged by mail — anything broken, bent or otherwise harmed in transit, whether it is a stock blade or a made-to-order commission. Report it within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.

Outside of transit damage, blades cannot be returned — each one is a sharp, made-to-order tool and custom builds are forged to your specification. If you are unsure whether your blade qualifies, contact us before sending anything back and we will guide you.
